Socio-economic advancement of a society requires very effective governance, which is a complex synergy of legislation and execution at several levels of government. It goes well beyond the competence and qualities of a single leader or isolated ‘messiahs’.
To get it right, the goal has to be producing a whole set of leaders at almost all levels and tiers of government that share a clearly outlined set of agreed ideals, objectives, methods and agenda.
This agenda in view evidently cannot be left to the whims of politicians who are driven majorly by personal and clique ambition, and it certainly won’t be happening by chance. It will require the highest level of deliberateness and determination to achieve.
It also has to come from the people, be designed for the people and by the people. Then the people will be able to select those leaders who are proven to understand the people’s agenda, and are proven to commit totally to the speedy and complete achievement of The People’s Agenda.
Our primary objective is to carry out public orientation, education and mobilisation projects around policy provisions and proposals in order to increase public participation and promote socio economic advancement in the society.
To also create a forum for advocacy and sensitisation on issues that will promote the well-being of members of the society through seminars, symposia and workshops.
